  1.  @marep5597  yu make the point well. There are lots of things humans do that other species don't, like cooking. And anyone with a cat will know, they love milk if they get the chance. My dog loves yogurt. And birds in the UK have been known to open milk left by the milkman (back when the milkman was a thing).

  2. One problem with the Japanese diet is that the white rice they eat is very sweet and low in fibre, and a lot of Japanese suffer from constipation. But what is impressive is how easy it is to eat cheap balanced meals in very casual dining places and even truck stops.

  6. I was staying in a hotel in New York amd watched an overweight woman order her food. She insisted on a low fat sauce (therefore likely full of sugar) and jad that with a massive plate of pasta. I remember thinking, "it's not the sauce that's makg you fat, it's the mountain of pasta."

  7. ​ @kscod6108 And humans have evolved since the introduction of cooking that it is almost impossible to survive on raw food alone unless it has been part processed first, such as through a blender or food mixer.
