I don’t understand what’s so difficult about this. In order for us to manipulate and probe the atomic and subatomic scales, we must translate between the big and the small using the very same stuff we are measuring. To see the subatomic, we have to amplify or magnify what is happening so that we can observe it at human scale. Likewise, we must shrink the human scale down to the subatomic scale to interact with it precisely. All while we, the measuring devices, and the stuff we are measuring are made out of the same stuff. The is no separation between those different things. It’s as simple as that.
