  1. It’s fascinating. In order for humanity to become a self conscious being, the emerging organism first needs to ensure the integrity of all the individual humans and the larger structures they make up and processes they perform. Anything unexpected is akin to a disease and must be removed. So in a way, this self-surveillance is really just the emergence of the required processes in order for humanity to become a self-conscious being, and in become so, is human become more and more confined and constrained in our actions and ability to project individual.
