  1. So for a type 1 diabetic who also suffers inflammation from arthritis should they stop delivering insulin when they notice that just injecting more insulin doesn’t reduce blood sugar levels, so as to avoid insulin resistance? I guess it’s a double edged sword.

  2. This has been a fantastic and insightful conversation. I hope I continue to remember all the nuances for a long time to come. Reflecting back on myself, I can see subtle ways in which I am addicted to two or three things I didn’t realise was addictive behaviour that do have the effects of withdrawing me from the world and reducing my enjoyment of other things.
