  1. Makes sense. Return XML as a response and the responsee can further query and manipulate the results using XPath and then convert the output using XSLT. I actually don’t understand why XPath and XSLT haven’t been applied to JSON, YAML, ProtoBuff, etc etc etc.

  2. Actually, I don’t understand why there aren’t XPath APIs (like GraphQL APIs, but using XPath). Or…. SQL APIs for that matter.
