@michaelamicucci9574 it’s not up to the younger generation though. Their ideals get beaten into submission well before they get any corporate power. It’s really up to the older generations to fix. The problem is, their ideals have been beaten into submission by the realities of their jobs. In other words, the older generations’ apathy and deference onto younger generations is really what needs to change.

Woah hold on… how can that supernova be the last thing? What about all that particles that just got spit out? I assume something eventually happens to them? Maybe some of that matter recombines into a new object? In the supernova I assume that more fusion happens so we get more unstable isotopes too?

Climate change is a massive Red Herring. We don’t need climate change to destroy the genetic diversity of Earth. Industry is doing that for us. Take any certifiable sustainable company that requires raw resources, than ask your self what needs to happen when demand for their product increases by 10%. They need to somehow grow or dig out 10% more resources. That will inevitably require more land converted away from what’s left of the natural ecosystem. Human society may not collapse, but the genetic diversity of the Earth’s ecosystem certainly will.

Immigration might be a solution, but it doesn’t fix declines of specific ethnic groups and their cultures… it really just proves that local populations and their culture are always displaced by immigrating populations.

But why do we care about climate change? Can’t people just move away from the coast and countries build better water management infrastructure?

1D strings become 3D shapes? But atoms are already 3D and the bonds have angles in 3 dimensions??

It’s only fair to add this credit and book recommendation to the video description so Liu Cixin can be supported and be compensated from this derivative work. Most users will miss this comment. It’s a truely great and unique series!!
