  1. Obviously it would change the game entirely. But that is the question we as a people must answer. Do we wish to continue sports that glorifies violence (seemingly a left over of Roman times) or do we evolve with other competitive sports that does not involve violence? That is the basic question to answer

  2. For as long as we embrace violence in sports, this will go on and on. And this is only deaths. They don't mention the other lasting injuries, whether is head or paralysis. I know, its sports, or is it? Hockey is not better.
