@mat House I am open to the possibility of a god existing, however there is currently no evidence of a god and therefore no reason to believe in one. Do you believe in fairies or unicorns or bigfoot or santa? I thought not..

@mat House The problem with the "proof of god" that you find online is that none of it is convincing. We don't choose what we believe, instead we believe what we are convinced of.

@mat House Your problem is that you have a very low bar for what you'll accept as proof of god. Your bar is so low that you'll believe anything on faith, while my bar is so high that I actually require something called evidence. You won't find actual proof of god anywhere, because it doesn't exist. There would be no atheists if convincing proof existed
