Do you ever tell transphobes to be more forgiving of trans people or do you prefer to only tell the marginalized community to be more forgiving?
5
Oof, yeah people gotta stop using the t slur, even when talking about how it's bad
4
Yes she is transphobia and she isn't left wing, she's a neoliberal. Terfs are not feminists, she is allies with anti abortion groups and other right wing groups who are against feminism. She has plenty against trans people, she isn't simply critical of their movement. You need to learn the difference between corporations paying lipservice to progressive movements and actually being progressive. If you don't understand how queer people are actually oppressed then you're ignorant.

Gonna be honest, Adam's food always ends up looking like my grandma made it which is a backhanded compliment that makes me feel hungry and nostalgic. Miss you Nana, rip

A year later, and everyone knows that NFTs are a scam, and the only people who don't admit are the scammers.

What a righteous mullet

@yoboyfargoth1208 Who said you couldn't? Many people believe the earth is flat, just like many people believe Trans people are not valid. They are both wrong and both groups have a lot in common with each other but they are both allowed to have their beliefs. You can believe whatever you want buddy. If you can't back up those beliefs with logic and reason then not many will take you seriously, but you are entitled to believe whatever you want about whoever you want. Literally no one is saying you can't.
2
@bluephreakr Well you do sound very reasonable but I am a bit uncomfortable trusting the rationale of someone who is more critical of an oppressed group than they are of the people actively or passively supporting their oppression.
1
Trans people don't even have an advantage in sports, this issue isn't actually that complex, it's just a way to attack and discriminate against trans people.
1
Woman is not a sex, female is a sex. You're confusing the terms.
1
Also there are not only two sexes, intersex people exist. Sex is now believed to be a spectrum, we group people together at either end of the spectrum as male or female but the sexual characteristics by which we organize people are extremely diverse across the spectrum. It isn't that clean and simple.
1
@Oogie1155 What do you mean how would it work? Sometimes sexual production doesn't work... You know it's not 100% effective right? Sex is a spectrum, that has been all but proven by the leading scientists in the field. There are as many confirmed intersex people alive as there are natural redheads. And many sexual reproductive and hormone disorders are believed to be intersex disorders, such as endometriosis, further expanding the amount of intersex people and confirming that sex is a spectrum. Google how many people have endometriosis. Maybe you should read some of the leading research on this instead of relying on your "common sense" otherwise known as confirmation bias, and on your 12th grade understanding of biology. Adult human female is not a universally agreed upon definition of woman, but it is one designed to try and exclude Trans women, even tho it doesn't, since trans women have female brains and that is what determines gender identity. Trans women are women, the science is pretty clear on this. You can deny science along with all the other science deniers, you'll have a lot of company.

From what I've heard, it's not bread, it's cake. So yes, cake is bad bread.
1
The classic definitions are outdated and inaccurate. Biological Sex is more accurately represented on a spectrum, it isn't binary.
1
@nemodot It has nothing to do with how humans feel. We have learned more about biology and understand it better, that's why we should change the definition. That's how science works. We learn new information about something that changes our understanding, and we change the way we define things to better reflect our understanding. That's just the scientific method. Insisting we don't change a definition because of an appeal to tradition is a position based entirely on feelings. Our understanding of complex things change, part of being an adult is dealing with that fact.

He was absolutely a monster. How is murder and genocide not monstrous?! The man was also a slaver wasn't he? Not a monster?!
1
@cptjockitch I never said those Royals weren't, of course they monsters as well, they did monstrous things. I don't those royals as positives, they are bad just like Columbus is bad. Slavery was always wrong, it was a different time is not an excuse. Columbus was a monster. Whataboutism doesn't change that fact. There is more than one bad guy.
1
@cptjockitch Wow. That is some scary logic and moral reasoning. Columbus is still a monster, it's irrelevant if a different monster would have done the same things if he hadn't, that doesn't make it okay. Just because everyone is doing something doesn't mean it isn't wrong. Slavery was always wrong. And it was NOT the "only way to get things done", a truly ludicrous and stupid statement, absolute nonsense. That wasn't the reality at all. Not every society had slavery. It was not the only way to get things done, I would love to see a historian's face if you told them that and were completely serious. You're like Philomena Cunk if she wasn't funny.
1
@keithjackewicz8423 based comments. I learned the word heuristic today because of you, but I doubt this guy will even google its meaning.
1
@cptjockitch Honestly, anyone who thinks slavery improved society is also a monster, no wonder you are making excuses for genocidal ghouls, apparently you think they are a net positive for our society. Why would things be worse if Muslims had colonized America?
1
@cptjockitch Are you a Trump supporter? Is that why you believe these things? Are you a fan of the president who was endorsed by David Duke? You three seem to share a lot of the same beliefs and values. How would we be set back 100 years if Muslims colonized America? What is the logic behind that conclusion?
1
@cptjockitch So that's a yes then? You're a Trump supporter?
1
Her views are extreme, as are the people she associates with since becoming a terf. She is subtle about it. But it is hateful. Look up Jessie Gender and her videos on Rowling's transphobia. As far as you can see is not very far it seems, in regards to this issue.

Hello Fresh treats their employees badly.
1
@dignanworldchampion there's still a spectrum, and hello Fresh is closer to the Kellogg's/Amazon end of the spectrum.
1
Why is it so hard to call someone by their preferred pronoun? Isn't that just the decent human thing to do, call someone what they want to be called? What good reason is there not to respect someone's wishes in this regard?
1
@marvinsroommate1003 What do you mean forcing people to do so? How is anyone being forced?
1
@marvinsroommate1003 Do you have any examples of what you are talking about? Because these seem like vague reactionary ramblings that don't have much basis in reality.
1
What beliefs are those exactly?
1
He's a person, people have political beliefs and this is his podcast, it's about him and his beliefs. People are asking him questions to hear what he thinks.
