But that sort of parent as the ultimate authority who cannot be argued with and need not justify their own behavior and abuse is the reason we had to blindside and leave her one day, because there is no room for discussion with someone who says they decide everything that happens under a roof because they pay for it, that's a slave master mentality. It's sad but she made her choice.

It's one thing to question it after, but doing it before shows that they don't care about democracy, they just want to win. Just as many people are leaving red states for blue ones because the red states have always been terrible for people who aren't rich and they have made them worse with their theocratic agenda. Republicans have never improved the country for working class voters, they only make it worse. The only people who should vote republican are rich people who don't care about others, which are also the types of people moving to red states. Normal working class people are idiots voting against their own interests by voting red.

  34. Conservatives are by definition, cowards. They are afraid of change. Terrified of it. They don't want to change themselves so they don't want the world to change. But it always does. Throughout history it's just the same fight over and over, conservatives try to hold the world back and progressives try to drag us forwards. From the dark ages to 2020, and the conservatives always lose eventually. Enough of them die out or lose power for humanity to move forward, and then new conservatives try to halt progress further because they like the way things are, or the way things were. Selfish and fearful, and I'm running out of empathy for people who are too scared to change.
