Capitalism is a system that is very beneficial to the Capitalists, the people who own everything and have the most money and don't have to work for a living. That's why they uphold capitalism and try to convince you and me to like it too. Any communist, or rather socialist (a necessary precursor to communism) countries that implemented left wing policies saw success and were undermined by the US and the UK because if poor people in their countries saw socialism working somewhere else they might want to try it. Capitalism hasn't allowed socialism to continue working. Why would the CIA spend billions of dollars trying to assassinate Fidel Castro over 600 times if the poor socialist country of Cuba would fail on its own? Think about it man, it doesn't make sense. Those in power are all rich, like Dennis Prager here, they are lying about Communism so you believe that Capitalism is in your best interests, but it isn't. It's in theirs.

Capitalism appeals to the worst aspects of human nature and ignores the rest, communism appeals to the best aspects of human nature and struggles against the worst. It's an end goal, one worth striving for. We probably won't ever achieve utopia but it's something worth striving for, we can make the world better than it is.

Communism is a stateless, moneyless society, it's a potentially unachievable utopia that socialist countries have been striving for but have not gotten close to attaining. You are being intellectually dishonest by saying that the Soviet union was actual communism, because you are changing the definition of communism in order to make that argument. Adams comment above is correct, centrally planned economies improve the quality of life of the people more than free market economies do.

  16. If you love socialism and America it makes sense that you'd want America to be socialist. Cuba was improved by socialism despite being poor, if America did socialism it would be great because it's literally the wealthiest country in human history. The most prosperous time in American history was when there were policies and programs and a taxes that would all be called socialist today.

It's meaningless, there is nothing to conclude z that wasn't a scientific experiment, it was a pointless rhetorical exercise. They are not two sides to the same coin, an incredibly ironic metaphor considering the goal of communism is to create a moneyless society. We could discuss the merits and disadvantages of each system like adults if you would like but saying "communism = x" is so silly even a child would question the validity of that.
