Absolutely. Mr Beast definitely makes too much money.
3
Then you aren't very smart then? Because that benefits no one, not even the billionaires.
3
No it isn't. Don't be self defeatist
2
You don't want to be a billionaire, you want to be happy
2
This is fire, so well put. I agree, I have screenshoted and will be quoting you in the future
2
@Andraoide I will, thank you so much for the recommendations, I definitely agree that their value systems are vastly different and we could learn a lot from how they lived. We could incorporate their wisdom into future societies I think.
2
It is a capitalism vs socialism issue though. Socialism is the best way to address problems created by capitalism
2
@LordLemoncake so do I, but solutions have labels buddy. We need to be able to communicate about what the solutions are, for that we need the label. Socialism is the solution to capitalism, it's socialism or barbarism.
2
Surely some limit is realistic. Say 900 million in wealth, that isn't that abstract.
2
Both
2
😂 you're a libertarian who doesn't know how the world works. Billionaires aren't the reason we have any of those things genius, selling those things is how they became billionaires and we will have everything we have now and more without billionaires. Billionaires add nothing, they only take.
2
@Misiok89 of course they have money, more than anyone else. It's not only assets. Those assets should be taxed and billionaires shouldn't exist, no wealth above 950 million worth, anything over gets redistributed to pay for social services to lift up the most vulnerable
2
@rishisaini5269 communism is based, I wish the video was Communist
2
@strongbad2016 there are intelligent ways of actually fixing that problem, being a billionaire is just a lazy and selfish way if sidestepping the problem for you personally
1
@strongbad2016 but you want to be a dictator yourself, so you can avoid consequences. That's what a billionaire is
1
@strongbad2016 They have the same amount of power as a dictator, they exploit people just like a dictator.
1
@willcool713 I agree, I just don't think a 900 million limit on wealth will be outdated for many decades. We need to start somewhere, but have room to adjust in the future in the way you're describing. I don't see this as an either or
1
Absolutely. I hope more people see this important video
1
When society collapses they won't be billionaires, they will be cattle for their former private security who enslave them almost immediately and take over the bunker.
1
But couldn't you avoid that problem by pooling your resources with other like minded people and working together towards the same goal? Then you'd have lab buddies
1
@Misiok89 No, not unless that company is monopolizing an industry, if it is then it should be broken up, that's just good for business and the economy. Personal wealth over 950 million should be redistributed. Don't you think we should prioritize helping those with hot enough over those who have too much?
1
You're saying that you believe that if everyone had enough we would stop working and innovating?
1
@SlawcioD it is a belief, and a false one. We know for a fact that when human beings have all their basic needs met are living happy and well rested lives that they continue to work and continue to innovate. Humans enjoy working and innovating and accomplishing things. The idea that people would stop working if they had enough is a myth, completely ahistorical and unsupported by evidence, we have a lot of evidence that shows the exact opposite. There is no logical reason to not strive to ensure that every human being has their basic needs met, we would actually be more productive and innovate more if this happened.

Max wealth 950 million. No billionaires, their existence is a sign of society in decline
