  1. Former Prime Minister Stubb delivers an excellent analysis of President Putin and how the Russians govern. I'm living 2,000 kilometers from Kiev and as an artist I have no experience in international affairs. That being said, what I have heard from Putin and several ministers and diplomats is the 'N' word coming up in their discourse. The only option President Putin has to stay in power is to secure the Ukraine, put in a puppet government and then re-group and go for Poland or Moldavia or Estonia, for example. He must have this conflict cross borders or he's toast---and he knows it better than anyone else. Only a continental war will allow Russia's number one ally and Putin's supposed best friend, President Xi Jingping to intervene. Boy and girls, my gut feeling is that WW III has subtly began. It's on page 3 so to speak. But Russian pride alone cannot allow the Ukraine to free itself from the Russian grip. Russia's allies see in real time the inept and chaotic fighting ability of Russia's legendary armed forces. The only way this conflict is going to go belly up is if Putin's illness or malady or mental health takes him out; otherwise, I think we had all better realize biological, chemical and nuclear weapons are going to be used sooner than later to settle this dispute. It's an opinion.
