Ian, isn't the only solution to gun safety in your country by having every American who is qualified to and can operate one own a hand gun and preferably wear it at all times? Wouldn't this throw a spike in the wheels of people that go to public places expressly to kill other people. Lastly, is this the solution to hate crime? I think if politicians used a variation of this phrase it might just put a serious dent in some people's belief systems. Here goes; every person has the right to be here. Period. Every one, no matter who they are or where they live, have the right to be on the Earth and that means in the country of their choice and obviously legally living in a country.

The plain simple truth of the matter is that if every adult person capable to bear arms was armed in that supermarket in Buffalo, more likely than not precious lives might have been saved because someone could have gotten off a shot and possibly taken out the shooter.

All I know is that for the 2nd Amendment to work, everyone has to be on board. Otherwise, unstable people rule and decent law-abiding citizens are fair game.
