Excellent update on this intractable conflict that has the entire world, already war-fatigued by 607 days of the Ukrainian / Russian war, shaking and stirring and hoping against all hope that a political solution can be found for the Palestinian people who live in what former American President Jimmy Carter called an open prison. Isn't it time to do what is inevitably the only humane thing to do and that is to plead with the 26 Arab nations to offer enough land for the Palestinians of Gaza to have their own proper country which they can build from scratch and evacuate from Gaza? In terms of logistics, we are talking about a misery train to hell and back in displacing 2.6 million people, but by relocating a people who have suffered enough, Hamas would have no reason to exist, because without a host people to prey on, they would vanish like tumbleweed and be gone from Gaza without a bullet being fired. Hamas survives in Gaza because of the acute suffering of a people more than happy to hand over their defense to anyone who will fight for their cause.
