Very well-presented Ian, a saucerful of events and meetings that shows that most of the world is still talking to each other, but smoke on the water is still coming out of the Ukraine war. My take on AI is something I have already said, but it's always good to talk about AI because it is already a part of our lives whether we like it or not. What I think has to happen is what seems to have occured when some wild animals were domesticated and brought into family homes as pets. What am I driving at? We need to tweak AI's silicon genes or whatever gets the artificial life ticking away and make absolutely sure that whenever an AI assisted robot, computer system etc., walks out of the factory that it has been programmed to be man's greatest friend. Period.
