  1. I learned something yesterday about war. Yesterday evening I learned that the goal of war is not to take back a certain amount of territory, but to deprive your enemy of the will and capacity to resist. In the Nagorno-Karabakh emerging war, will it end up with Armenia coming losing out cold and be the death knell for 120,000 people? The stark reality it seems is that there are no peacekeepers to keep the peace! Ian, you have indeed shone a light on a disaster-in-the-making. May I ask one question? Whom is right in this stand-off between the angry foes? Are the Armenians going to undergo another genocide that will be denied for generations like what happened with the Turks? What sort of kit would they need to put Armenia back in the driver’s seat?
