Ian, what I do not understand is that from Day 1 of the Israeli counteroffensive i.e., its incursion into Gaza, why on earth haven't neighboring Arab countries allowed Palestinian civilians to be able to be housed in their countries? Countless deaths could have been prevented, say, if Jordan had agreed to let Palestinians to take refuge in their country until the fighting was over in Gaza. I deplore all harm that has been done to both sides of the conflict, but I cannot fathom why thed 26 Arab nations have not lifted a finger to get women and children and men out of harm's way.
