  1. Do you know what is absent from your Haiti report, Ian? There should be a coalition of African countries sending troops, police, supplies, doctors---you name it! Haitians are Africans and the mother land should be doing the housekeeping. Uncle Sam always gets the blame for not solving yet another dictorship-gone-bad in the Caribbean. How about a coalition of Caribbean governments sending in help? Or next door in the Dominican Republic? For crying out loud, America can't literally be the world's policeman.
