Dr Frieden gives his vast expertise in assessing the current situation of the omicron variant and in showing that there is cause for concern that even more infectious variants of COVID may be just around the corner. Bottom line: listen to one's health specialist and stay up-to-date on getting vaccinated. Long Covid for me is the biggest worry: it is the known unknown that threatens to be with the human community for years to come.
