First, it is astounding how Ian Bremmer has got a handle on issues across the globe and delivers his analyses succinctly and in plain English that everyone can understand. What is frightening about what Ian just said is that AI and poor information in the hands of a rogue autocratic leader who has no checks and balances in his government has suddenly made the world a much more dangerous place. Just today or was it yesterday, the leader of the lower house of the Duma (please check this info) said publicly that if the west continues to supply Ukraine with offensive weapons it will mean global catastrophe could result. Nevermind that Russia has just invaded a sovereign nation, but the moment Russia feels that a sovereign nation it has invaded is planning counter-offensive actions, suddenly Russia feels theatened enough to utter irresponsible rhetoric about there being a wider world conflict if the Ukraine and the west follow through.
