  1. My guess is that Netanyahu has cooked up a way to get himself booted out of office for good. He alone knows that there is no one of his prestige and experience who can navigate through international waters better than Bibi, and he knows that if he is thrown out of office someone else is going to have to take over and learn the hard way how to govern Israel. To recap: Netanyahu is deliberately paving the way for him to not be recalled into the presidency and to have himself be thrown out of office in order for someone else to take the reigns and do the job...
