  1. All and everyone in the UK and the west should be proud to see what your country has done for Ukraine. Embattled and scandal-ridden, Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has his share of foes in his home country, but his lightning visit to Kiev in the early days of the war from the first world leader of a superpower pledging support till kingdom come should warm all of your hearts and for us across the world as well. We saw a visibly shaken President Zelensky and a buoyant Prime Minister Johnson meeting and sharing thoughts and then boldly braving missile attacks by defiantly walking down a Kiev high street to show the two countries were in this together. Suddenly, a shy and reticent shop keeper comes out of his establishment and says a few words towards the two leaders. A puzzled Prime Minister Johnson looked over to Zelensky and curteously asked, "What did the man say?" The President of Ukraine looked at Johnson and smiled and told him, «He said, thank you for helping us!" That gesture of support lifted an entire nation of more than 40 million people back on its feet and from that minute on they knew that the UK was going to help them win the war against Russia.
