Andrew, there is an American military man, the Lt. General (ret.) Ben Hodges, who has greater knowledge on how to end the Urkainian war than probably most of the people running the countries who support Ukraine. General Hodges spells out what is needed to have Crimea in Ukrainian hands by summer's end. Crimea is the key to the highway in Ukraine's survival and cannot be allowed to remain in Russian hands because the Russians can control the Black sea, Odessa's ports and the Sea of Azov if they hold on to Crimea according to him. Andrew, let's stop beating around the bush and get behind General Hodges who can tell us how to end this conflict very soon---not in 4 or 5 years. A UK general named 'Chip' said to win a war in the 2020s you need to have air superiority to knockout ammunition dumps, headquarters, supply routes etc. You need to have surprise, shock and solid offensive strategies. The Ukranians have shown themselves to be an 'A' list country---they can learn complex weapons systems in no time at all. Let's get the Ukrainians what they need to win the war; they have the savoir faire, the morale and thanks to your country, some of the best fighting men and women in the world. This is a win/win situation if we follow General Hodge's advice. What is holding us back?

@Retired Bore GGGGGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you. It's anybody's guess on how the Ukraine war is going to end. I have never served in the military, so I listen to the experts and pick the people like General Hodges who has the experience to know what he is talking about. But he could be wrong, and it could end up becoming a contintental war. But I think it's better to go all out now rather than dither and drip feed the Ukrainians the firepower they need to beef up their defenses. What about getting artillery to blow away the tanks on the other side of the Dnipro river where they are bombing Kherson into the stone age?

@ToothbrushMan GGGGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you. You know the situation better than I do; I have never served in the military and I spend my days painting surrealistic paintings. But what I do know is that if one military expert says we can end the war in 6 months if we do this or that, and someone else says it will take years, I think we should give the first guy a chance. If in 6 months he's wrong, well it's 6 months of time lost, but waiting years for somebody else's plan is dark days ahead. We have to remember that people fighting for their land learn fast, the Ukrainians are an 'A' list country, they can learn complex weopons systems very quickly. Also; the Russians are on the mend, every day that ticks by gives them more time to regroup. I say we go for the juglar like General Hodges.
