  1. The balloon fiasco came the day before your Secretary of State was to make a historic 'first' and meet the Chinese President for a meeting. It looked odd from my unschooled point of view and I saw it as a diplomatic move to make the meeting not happen if the Secretary took the bait: he did and the meeting was unfortunately cancelled. This gave the Chinese an 'excuse' to widen the rift between the two superpowers even more. What is going to happen soon is the Wuhan lab-leak theory is going to go ballistic and that means China will be cornered into having to make reparations for the Wuhan virus' deadly wave across the planet. Except they won't because President Xi will be obliged to spin the facts using plausible deniability as his excuse, because there are no facts at all; every witness and every scrap of evidence has undoubtedly been washed into oblivion. But here is where the rubber meets the road and why I think we should all prepare ourselves for China's only logistical move that makes any sense and that is by arming and teaming up with the Russians. We must prepare an offramp for all sides to not escalate tensions.
