Can anyone ever imagine we would be seeing Margaret Bremmer interviewing the Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Oksana Markarova about the most brutal and cruel conflict in Europe in the 21st century? There are reports of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who are captured by the Russians and are having their fingers cut off so that they can't fire a weapon! This is an invasion by a neighboring country (Russia) which is committing war crimes at every stage of their 'military exercise' in Europe in 2022?! Everyone talks of the atrocities of the past western governments have done and no one can deny it, but one thing we can all be happy for and that is that the American Republic for all its faults is making it possible along with her allies to help a besieged nation fight for their survival through the Pentagon and an American President who will go down in history for backing his words with actions. Slava Ukraini! If there ever was a people who reflect American and western values and belief in democracy it is the great people of Ukraine.
