Are we to believe a kidnapper would write a three-page letter, written on Mrs Ramsey’s stationary with apparently one of her pens, and this is the clencher… and then ask for a ransom of John Ramsey’s exact Christmas bonus of 128 thousand dollars and then murder the poor child? Don’t kidnappers usually make at least one phone call? As a father I cannot believe John Ramsey would go to the basement and find his lifeless daughter and pick her up to bring her upstairs. I am sure any father would be shocked to the point of only being able to let out a yell or a scream and then run upstairs to get his wife. Peter Hyatt who deciphers the language people use should be brought in for his views. If anyone saw Richard D. Hall’s interview with Mr Hyatt about the Madeleine missing-child case in Portugal, you would see there are ways to detect guilt in what’s called an imbedded confession. I would be willing to be Mr Hyatt would shed new information in this sense.
