David and Nathalie, what an exciting voyage into a world----that is----your world of study. At 13:18 you are showing us a statue with drill holes into pink granite David. The contoured side looks extremely well made. This is where I get to the point where----and I know you are not going to like me for this David---but I have to ask how in the world of antiquity---pun intended---could they know how to have worked with one of the hardest stone in the world with copper tools?

@WorldofAntiquity GGGGGGGGGreat to hear from you Professor Miano. It has to be the most delightful conundrum ever imagined to be discussing how certain technical operations could have occured millenia ago. It makes me think of an anecdote someone once said of a group of archaeoologists debating for years that The Great Pyramid of Giza could not have made i.e., having the 4 corners of the pyramid plum without advanced surveying tools. Someone who was not an engineer apparently then came up with the idea that they flooded the base and used the water level to have the four corner stones plum. You're right of course, about what time was back then. You probably were given tasks and there was no time limit, you just had to get the job done---in your own time.
