Let's be real: there is a way out of this. Capitalism was thought to be invented in 1694----check your sources----when The Bank of England issued its first bonds. Fast forward to the present day and we see that finance capitalism is in full swing around the world. I am an artist and not an economist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kN3RCs4bYc. Please excuse me for stepping into territory not my own, but I wrote a book----and excuse me for plugging it---but I wrote a book called The Treatise of Teknomix. Teknomix is my name for an economic prototype of an economic model to replace capitalism. We have the top minds in the world working in finance and banking and if they could just have a look at what I have come up with, I think they could upgrade my admittedly naïve economic model into something that could get us away from horror videos of people being left out of society.

Let's start by offering a solution. I am an inventor and when I see a problem, I try to find a solution. The homeless situation in America, when viewed from the other side of the world is heartbreaking and the thing I think most people don't realize is that American kids are seeing adults in dire situations that will stay in their minds their whole lives. Sometimes images that are shocking do not wash away, and this is why the homeless situation in the USA must be dealt with immediately. What I would do if I were in charge of dealing with this problem is to first have every state take an equal portion of these people. This would give some cities and some states a breather. Next; these people should be helped and here is a way to do it. University-style temporary housing should be set up in rural areas and the homeless people would be allowed to stay there. It would run just like a university with 'classes' which would help the most distressing cases with basic instructions on how-to live-in society. Obviously, mentally impaired individuals need to live in a special resource’s 'dorm' where their individual needs be assessed and where they might need to stay permanently. The people that have lost everything would go through a program and when they have reached a level where they were judged capable to hold down a job, on the 'campus' there would be people running an employment office of sorts which would work to place these people in one of the 50 states and help them get on their feet until they were able to pay their way. Does anyone see what I am driving at? You make it work like a university campus, but a 'campus' for the homeless. In depressed areas, this in itself would create jobs and suppliers of all sorts would benefit. It means dishing out some dough, but in a fiat system, money is created out of thin air and the positive results would see America's kids win big
