We must never, ever forget that former Prime Minister Boris Johnson's lightning visit to Kiev as the first superpower to back the fledgling regime, forever changed the political landscape round the entire world. BREXIT may have ditched some very comfortable contacts and lucrative contracts and easy access to the European Market, but what it cemented in place is that The United Kingdom is a superpower in all but name. There is no country on earth that has the mindset of the British people and it is a state of mind that is in their DNA of what a nation needs to be a superpower. I will give you all the tanks you need, and throw in artillery and mortars and drones and fighter planes, but if you do not possess what it takes to fight and to win, you will look like present-day Russia: a pathetic, cobbled together patchwork group of men in uniform led by commanders’ miles behind the front lines soaked to the gills on Russia's national drink.

It is just that I listen to military specialists from around the globe and the experts from the UK are second to none. It's in their DNA. They have a unique perspective of the world being an island nation. They trained tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops who are trouncing the Russian soldiers. Imagine what British troops would be doing on the battlefield. The Brits are a superpower in all but name; sure, they don't have a military to match up to the Russians, but you don't need kit anymore to be a superpower: it's a mindset.
