  1. Dear Dr Campbell, Thank you for your update on the mink virus invasion in Denmark. If I may say something that I don't mean to be alarming, but are we now looking at the harbinger of what's to come with this Coronavirus epidemic? What do I mean by harbinger? I mean, if the virus got 14 million mink infected who in turn infected humans, then surely squirrels, or other animals round the world have done the same thing, couldn't we say? The virus is passing from animal to human host at ease. The minks are just a concrete example. There has to be other cases of animal to human to animal to human somewhere else in the world. Certainly, one can imagine it happenening in Africa with human to ape infection and back again to humans going on. It's a hypothesis.
