Before I forget, I would like to ask Dr Campbell something about having everyone go to festivals this summer. Where I live on the continent, they are going to start things off with a 3-day music festival with some events having up to 3,000 people sitting together or standing. I am firmly opposed to putting people in confined spaces, but equally so for outside events, because if there is no wind, it's practically like being inside. My instinct tells me it's wrong to go ahead with festivals and people grouping together while across the world people are dying by the thousands per day. To be truthful, no one is on my side about this---and I understand why people want to get things back to normal, but there is a new variant out of Vietnam and it is certainly in the city I live in. The Minister of Health in Vietnam called it a mix between the Alpha and Beta strain and he said it was very dangerous.
