  1. I don't believe it's time to loosen restrictions. How someone can order things back to normal when cases are going up reminds us of a battle in WW I where the soldiers were ordered to walk into enemy fire because the distance was too far to enemy trenches. Just walk, the generals said, it will be okay. It wasn't okay. There were horrendous losses in that battle. By relaxing the simple and effective procedure of wearing masks in public places, I believe this latest decree by PM Johnson will come back to haunt him. Common sense must prevail. Why the need to relax life-saving rules when a third wave of the Delta virus is raging across the world as we speak? Patience is needed to confront this foe; the virus only propogates when we give it victims. What's wrong with waiting until it passes as it surely will? This is unknown territory we are talking about; we cannot proceed like we know what's hiding round the next bend.
