Dear Dr Campbell, Thank you once more for providing extremely important information. Obesity is visible in all ages in the country I live in, which is next to Italy. My daughter suffers from obesity and being overweight and what I have learned is that nothing I say will ever change her eating habits. So; I try to teach by example and that means I do my best not to have extra weight on me. The thing I have always heard is that with every extra pound of fat the heart has to pump blood through 2 kilometers of capillairies. Could you please confirm this information? If true, then someone 30 pounds or more overweight like my daughter means her heart has to work so much harder than someone with normal weight. What is troubling is to see the number of chubby kids on public transport, all glued to their screens and the play grounds near my flat are always empty. The kids are all in front of a screen; parents love it because for hours and hours their kids don't bother them. What's worse of course it that the Coronovirus is particularly apt to infect an obese person because their immune systems have been compromised. I know I speak for the world in thanking you for your tireless work, and hours and hours of going over data, searching on the internet and verifying your information. No one could imagine how much of your time you are devoting to your videocasts. Thank you.
