Dear Dr Campbell, Thank you for being the bedrock of common sense in the Covid-19 pandemic. I have followed your guidelines to the letter. I have to admit that sometimes I get fierce resistance from my neighbors when I insist on leaving doors to the appartment building open during the day. For example, minutes after I open the doors and leave them open, someone will come down and close the doors. Nothing I say about the virus propagating in confined spaces, like elevators, goes in their heads and stays there. I also rarely take the elevator as I'm on the 3rd floor and it is not a problem to walk up three flights of stairs at all. My comments today are about higher education facilities opening their doors to young people to whom they know will not abide by the rules. The minute the TGIF party starts, people will be snogging, dancing close together and heading for the restaurants and bars afterwards. It's madness to have opened the universities and absurd because all of these young people are used to using on-line learning. The sad thing is that we all know some unfortunate people who do get infected might be bedridden for months or worse. Be safe -
