Jordan Harbinger and Yuval Harari have given one of the pleasant and informative interviews and discussions on the real possibility that AI could signal the end of the world to the human community. Harbinger and Harari superbly compliment each other intellectually and spiritually and Harbinger brings the best out in his guest to give us by asking quality questions and Yuval in turn furnishes an unpolished yet outstanding look at the world in real time. Voici (here) are two people who are a gift to humanity. What we can do about the singularity that already some intelos tell us has actually been reached is something we can only ponder on, but what I take home from this excellent videocast is that we have for the first time in human history a technology (AI) that can not only tell stories as Harari eloquently states, but it can also potentially interpret stories and texts by itself. Will AI write stories on its own that exclude humans? Not to denegrate Africa, but AI is the new 'African bee' of technologies that has the makings of being something that will out fox us at every turn.
