What no one seems to understand is that finance capitalism, the economic system under which we all succumb to has shown its soft underbelly and the reality is that it is a broken system that has been grounded on the beach and is slowly dying before our very eyes. It is absurd to the point of hilarity that an economic system for The United States could find itself with 34 trillion dollars in debt. The sheer amount of this money in pay-back terms is laughable beyond belief. Yet; we go on debating how to win back our freedom while the rats infest our trenches and we slide into utter despair. The plane is going to ditch; we need a new economic system.

Dear Mr Schiff, Thank you for this videocast. What you have done here is set the record straight. What is most disturbing to me watching this from the other side of the world, is that with an economic downturn and global pandemic in full swing, people are out in the streets demonstrating and certainly spreading the virus and of course the fringe element are burning businesses and looting high market stores and burning cars and even killing people. The worst thing the minority communities are doing is showing no respect for the legal system and not waiting for justice to run its course. It's a terrible thing for George Floyd to have lost his life, but this is not the time to bring down society because of it. It's easy to criticize, but isn't this a time for people to remain calm?

It's rare to see a visionary be so open and wishing us all to take the right path in life with our investments. I will say it again: what I do not understand is why the Fed has led America to the perdicament it is in. I cannot fathom why running the economy has to be so erratic.

First, I'd like to say this is one of Peter Lavelle's best cross-interviews. All the guest speakers are top-of-their-game contestants. What is sad for me, as an observer from a country in Europe coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic, is that I am appalled at the lack of leadership at the top of our financial institutions. I have nothing but respect for all of you who work in the financial industry, but it beggar's belief that we keep coming back to a lack of leadership in the financial markets. The Fed looks like a boat without a rudder most of the time. The Stock Market looks rigged. The fact that the middle-class will pay the price is timeless. Boys and girls, as someone who is not in the financial industry, I am simply dumbstruck that the people who get elected to run the global economy seem to get it wrong so many times.
