First, congratulations to Mr Buterin and Mr Fridman for having cracked the financial conundrum and been able to move on with your lives without worrying about money. This must be fantastic and it should also allow you to find your purpose in life. Most of us have to go through each day wondering if we can pay the bills at the end of the month, being financially free is our goal, but maybe its all illusion; maybe it's all hype; maybe money is the biggest mistake civilizations have forced on their people' We're told from very young---as young men---to make as many tiny pieces of paper i.e. money, as possible. But what I think is the purpose of life is to make it through the day and be satisfied in every way possible. We never can live in the past or in the future; when you think of it, all we do is live in the present. We may go to sleep tonight thinking about tomorrow, but when you wake up... it's today.
