Max said something in another videocast about great jobs that are likely to be lost to AI programs or robots because employers will always choose to reduce staff if they don't have to pay someone a full wage because an AI program will do it for peanuts. Here is where I know we have to accept or we will be leaking jobs forever and AI will simply rubber stamp everything a human can do and do it better and this is the clincher: every company grooves to one melody: profits, profits and more profits. What if we take capitalism out of the equation for future jobs humans do----and like? What if there is an alternative economic system that is not profit-driven, but has the same setup as downtown main street USA? Employers would be more than willing to keep humans on the job if they didn't have to worry about losing big on paying their salaries and it not affecting the bottom line, would they? I don't say teknomix, my economic model, is the answer. But I submit it sure might be worth looking into by professionals in the finance industry in case it can be developed into an economic system that not only satisfies everyone's needs, but wins big in that people will be able to keep the good jobs they like and let AI do the repetitive things and above all---still make the GDP worth a pretty penny...
