  1. Max Tegmark brings up a very good point about how AI will be able to do everybody's job better than humans do. We know we cannot stop this from happening with consumer capitalism as our global economic system because a free-market economy will always follow the money. People will be replaced by computer programs because of lower costs to the companies without hesitation, because that is how our system works. However, if there was an alternative to capitalism----and yes; I have invented one called teknomix----my economic model or something similar to it would not be profit based and therefore interesting jobs could stay in human hands, because employers would not be cutting corners every time they could lower costs of operating. To recap: Maybe all that Max says about people not being needed is only because in capitalism it is all about making a profit and when you can't make a profit, people go out the door. I am sure that I have not invented the right model to replace capitalism; I am an artist and not an economist, but in my book The Treastise of Teknomix, I believe it could be the catalyst for getting us something better for the human community to live with---because no one should be forced to give up a job they like or have to be homeless.
