What is most amazing to me about when we die is the accounts of long-dead realives coming to see the person at the end of their life. They often sit on the patient's bed. Why do they do this? Because sitting on the bed is more comforting to the patient. Patients who have been paralyzed have been known to sit up just before dying an say goodbye to the family members around the bed. Many types of phenomenon occur at the time of death according to researchers. What I think happens is that our soul resides in the body we have until the time of death and then moves on to the next realm. It seems implausable, I know, but it certainly appears that our life on Earth is not the only time we are alive. Our spirit is perhaps eternal and we go on in the pattern of who we were on Earth.
