  1. Racism and antisemitism are like a virus. They keep coming back around to haunt us in a new form just when we think we can look the other way and lean over to smell the roses. Up it comes again out of the blue with some horrendous attack or worse. It's a seed of destruction that has been planted in the human community's consciousness and all we can do is continually weed the universal garden when spring comes around is what I'm afraid is the only cure. Lastly, I'm sure many will find this comment not very understanding, but I think one way that society could tone down antisemitism and anti-muslim or anti- whatever is to not permit people to wear religious symbols in public. When you think of it, why do people need to wear their religious affiliation on their sleeves so-to-speak? Unstable people react differently than average or ordinary people and they are the ones that seem to do the damage.
