The real shocker for me is how in the world a mega-spokesman for green energy like Musk would let his guard down and go for the flagship of the crypto-currency fleet, not knowing it was a lame horse on practically all fronts? Why would he jump in with a mountain of dough and then jump out sounding like he really was surprised to find that it was an old war horse destined for the techno-graveyard of early startups? How could the king of Mars not be prepped on the downside of the Bitcoin Trojan Horse of the crypto-movement?
