  1. It is hard to understand how anyone could study economics for 20 semesters, but now we understand why Professor Wolff is such a well of knowledge in economics. What is striking is how the west will let itself become afraid of an idiology to the point where schools will exclude it ( even though it's part of the dismal science ) from the curriculum. Imagine doing 19 semesters of economics and only one teacher turns you on to Marxism! When my book comes out---and soon I hope---I know my concept of an economic system to replace capitalism will surely have Professor Wolff---and Lex---rolling in the aisles. I haven't even had one semester of economics. So; why write a book about a new economic model? No one will believe it, but I wanted to write a book to cement the end of my teaching English to working professionals in a French speaking society and one day---almost sort of as a joke---I said, "why not invent a new economic system?" Teknomix is the name I've given my ( admittedly utopic ) system, because I wanted to get away from the ---isms. My first line editor loved the book and urged me on to get it published. The rest is history...
