I am not proud to say that I have failed in husband school twice in my life---so far! I have been married and divorced twice and the last divorce was as painful as the first one, but I do have an anecdote that still sticks in my mind. It was the first meeting with my divorce lawyer for my second divorce and he said "What's the reason that you want a divorce from your wife?" I looked at him in the eye and said, "My wife is crazy", and before I could finish the phrase he put his hand on my shoulder and said, sir, "Of course, she is. You wouldn't be here otherwise." Something to that effect. I had an inside smile on my straight face as I realized immediately I was getting played like a fiddle, because in the end everyone is working for the rent or car payment.
