  1. Lex Fridman just never ceases to amaze with getting top quality guests like Andrew Bustamante on his show. What is striking is Bustamante's view on Russia getting everything it wants from Ukraine and plowing over into Moldova, then on to Poland and the Baltic States. What I see as someone living 2,000 kilometers from Kiev is the emergence of a future mini-super power if all goes well for Ukraine in that the nuclear option or a dirty bomb is used. At this writing the Ukraine has produced a fighting army like none the world has ever seen. Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are united in a way that one wishes America could be in its hour of need where political factions are pulling it apart at the seams. Now that Russia is going to be using prisoners as a part of its fighting force, one has to wonder how secure Russian commanders are going to be with known criminals suddenly armed to the teeth with the most lethal weapons on the planet. What I think is the in the autumn there will be a phase of fighting that will make all that has come before look like a warm-up. I agree with Bustamante that Putin has no choice but to win, and I think he is going to use the Ukrainian nuclear facility to make a dirty bomb that will make most of the Ukraine and parts of northern Europe and Eastern Russia a no-man's-land just to save face. His intelligence agency is probably right now cooking up a way to make it look like the Ukrainians bombed the nuclear plant.
