I don't see the scientist's name, but I would like to say to hin that his explanations of course make sense, but he has too many stops and starts and changes of direction that it becomes frustrating every time he explains something. No one is saying he does a bad job of analyzing complex things, but it might be better to not get side tracked when he is explaining things and keep coming back to the point he is trying to make. Spell things out clearly first; then talk about variants might be the way so that ordinary people can follow what he says.
