Of all the people in the world not to give a mega-phone to, we are now seeing that Elon Musk has done what all dictators have done---including present day Putin---in making one final reach too far. What has happened is that a rocket man, entrepreneur and inspiration to a young generation around the world has come off as a spoiled brat in a Gucci suit. Musk's legacy has reached quicksand levels and what all of us can learn from this is to stay tuned into our intuitive inner-voice. What Musk has done is to have over-ridden the alarms his gut feeling was giving him in favor of an ego that has an endless thirst for having the last word on just about any subject.
