  1. Sam, you have words that cut through to the chase and take the lead on so many subjects that I am convinced it is your wife who is the genius---behind the smooth talker. Jokes aside, the Carlson phenomena in America looks disproportionate from half a world away. Eastern European countries like Poland have commentators saying Tucker Carlson is a little too pro-Russian for his own good. He does fit in Putin’s shadow when you think of it. The undeniable fact is that he comes across as so darn likeable and down-home, a little too much like the angry neighbor breaking into a wide grin as he goes crashing your BBQ while hauling over a case of Bud under his arm. Does that analogy connect or make any sense, probably not? But his message is a buzz-saw to the establishment and as groovy as that might seem, the take-home pay is that it undermines American democracy one sound bite at a time. He has the uncanny ability to have the American flag flapping away behind him and at the same time denigrate the US Government and throw mainstream media into the same puddle. People are saying FOX NEWS is going to regret losing their golden bull, but you can't win a war with only one artillery piece, can you? Tucker Carlson getting booted from FOX NEWS and hitting the road out of main street USA is almost as good as it will be when former President Trump does the same. Perhaps not surprisingly, both of them thrive in a democracy but their words and actions betray them as purveyors of anarchy…

I don't understand how Russians can tolerate a system like the one they are in, but they do and that just tells me that I must never imagine someone else thinks like I do. All I know is that the Ukrainians must fight on or their very survival is at risk.
