Sam, I make no bones about it, I hope I can have a debate with you one day on the evolution of evolution---seriously, what everyone has to realize is that Tucker Carlson's sanitized and small talk discussion with Putin was not taken to be anything more than some comments in primary colors of what is going on with President Putin and his view on the Ukraine conflict and other issues in black and white terms everyone with half a brain could understand. We live a few hours by plane from Kiev and here there is amazing support for Putin in many of the folks I know in town whom I talk to who see Russia winning and therefore they are playing their Kremlin-wins-this-one card. What we have to realize is that Carlson came to the interview with a personal message from Uncle Joe---President Biden knows a key moment when he sees one. Carlson delivered a message that in my view was an off ramp for Putin to not end up in total humiliation on the world stage. I am an artist and I could be flat out wrong, but put yourself in Uncle Joe's shoes: he sent Vlad a message.
